Description
Draft circular letter with Tate Gallery letterhead addressed to 'Dear Mr ----', written to accompany an invitation to the private view of 'the coming exhibition of works by members of the painters' and sculptors' section of the Kulturbund [i.e. the Free German League of Culture], under the presidency of Kokoschka'.
The reverse of the letter has the address of Jane Lidderdale written on it, and there is a later accompanying note written on a glassine bag: 'Draft of letter re first Private View of the Kulturbund'.
