Description
Photocopy of a letter in which Phillips reflects on a meeting with Burstow, including the statement 'I was taken aback when you inferred that the Americans could have thought of the ICA as having some kind of political agenda' and adding that 'People such as Roland [Penrose], Herbert Read, Henry Moore and Misha Black were all very careful to avoid any party political label which might affect their careers'.
