Description
Black and white photograph of the Swiss artist Irmgard Burchard and a figure who appears be the German artist Erich Kahn (based on resemblance to a photo in the Drian Galleries collection: see TGA 200023/2/176).
Annotated 'Irmgard Burchard | 1938' on the reverse and stamped 'Proof' alongside photographer's stamp of H.G. Ochs. The date of 1938 is apparently wrong, as it seems to have been taken at a Phillips family Christmas party some 15-20 years later (cf. TGA 9610/8/7/23, which includes another shot by Ochs of Burchard in the same outfit).
