The four pages were originally part of a sketchbook or notebook. Page one features a sketch of a profile of a woman with long wavy hair, and the annotation, 'Fri at 4.30 B.B.C. with manuscript'. Pages two and three feature notes, possibly by the artist's wife, Nora, about knitting. Page four features notes, possibly by the artist, concerning a talk.
