Biography

Saloua Raouda Choucair (Arabic: سلوى روضة شقير‎; June 24, 1916 – January 26, 2017) was a Lebanese painter and sculptor. She is said to have been the first abstract artist in Lebanon, though she sold nothing there until 1962.
