Technique and condition
The image is painted in watercolour applied over a pencil underdrawing with detail in gouache on an off-white wove paper. The work is in sound condition and has a small loss in one corner. It has suffered some discolouration from its mount.
On acquisition the work was removed from its mount prior to being pressed, inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
