Technique and condition
The image is painted in watercolour and gouache applied over a pencil underdrawing on grey wove paper. It has suffered a small amount of discolouration from its mount.
On acquisition the work was removed from its mount and secondary support. Paper and adhesive remnants were removed prior to the work being pressed, inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
