Technique and condition
The image is painted in watercolour applied over a pencil underdrawing on a grey wove paper. The work is in sound condition although it has suffered a small amount of discolouration from its mount.
On acquisition the work was removed from its mount prior to being pressed, inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
