Technique and condition
A watercolour on cream wove paper. The work is in good condition with slight yellowing of the paper from acidic migration visible on the verso.
On acquisition the woodpulp mount and residual adhesive were removed from the recto of the support. The work was inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
