Catalogue entry

Turner has used the last page in this sketchbook for various inscriptions including what appears to be a list of artists and paintings. The text is partially illegible but can be transcribed as follows: ‘200 L | 2 8 ½ 3. | B[?urn] Tamborine | Correggio St P [?J...] | Vanscholtz | [?Kommentius] | G[?oimaldik] | St Gl[...] | Rosso Like I [?Belino]’. Interspersed between the notes are a couple of schematic drawings including a study of a face. Similar jottings can be found on the inside back cover (D40986).
