Join us for a free 30-minute guided tour of our Archive Gallery spaces

Uncover amazing stories relating to the history of Tate Britain using Tate’s Library and Archive collections. Some tours include exploring archive material relating to John Banting, Nigel Henderson and Anne Estelle Rice. See the information desk for details.

I was persuaded to join a tour to learn about 'the archive' rooms … interesting, informative and introduced me to an area of the gallery that I didn’t know existed. I look forward also to try out the interactive screens

The Archive Explorers are part of the innovative Archives & Access project generously supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
