Visually Impaired visitors are invited to join us for an Audio Described tour of Antony Gormley: The Model Room. Antony Gormley (born 1950) is widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading sculptors, best known for his engagement with the human figure and an interest in materials and their manipulation.
The Model Room reflects the artist’s radical approach to ‘the body as place’. Gormley is interested in exploring the relationship of the human body to space by replacing anatomy with architecture.
