Join author Chris Lam Sam and illustrator Angela Keoghan, co-creators of Inspector Brunswick and his loyal assistant Nelson, for a read-along of their debut picture book published by Tate.

Introducing Inspector Brunswick: The Case of the Missing Eyebrow! A funny and charming debut picture book and the first in a series starring the world’s greatest cat detective!

This page-turning mystery introduces an endearing and eccentric cast of characters and teaches children how to look closely at art and to find new and interesting details each time. Visiting us all the way from New Zealand, Chris and Angela will be putting on an interactive read-along of their book and bringing their whimsical and humorous characters to life.

This family activity will also include a special ‘expressions’ drawing workshop from Angela Keoghan.

Learn how eyebrows alter facial expressions by using Angela’s very own artwork – try to make the Admiral’s expression change. Can you make the face happy or sad, inquisitive or surprised, cheeky or sneaky?
