Tate Modern has collaborated with acclaimed Nigerian chef Aji Akokomi for an exclusive culinary collaboration celebrating Nigerian Modernism. Akokomi’s three-course dinner menu at Tate Modern’s Restaurant is inspired by the themes and spirit of the exhibition. Known for his innovative approach to West African cuisine, Akokomi draws inspiration from pioneering Nigerian modernist artists — particularly potter Ladi Kwali, whose work features in the exhibition and whose ceramics influence his presentation and storytelling.
