Join us for making, music and poetry inspired by Philip Guston

Inspired by Philip Guston’s artistic exchanges with musicians and poets in New York, we have invited creatives based in London to respond to Guston’s work.

Taking place over a number of days throughout the exhibition, Blk Moody Boi, Andra Simons and Anja Ngozi will be activating the exhibition with making, music and poetry. Throughout the exhibition, they will be sharing art, music and poetry to celebrate Guston, one of the 20th century’s most captivating painters.

Join artist and illustrator Blk Moody Boi for a collective making activity exploring storytelling through art. Watch Andra Simons perform poetry and hear Anja Ngozi play new music created for this exhibition.

The performances will take place on the following days, from 10am-6pm with artist breaks:

Blk Moody Boi: outside the exhibition, Natalie Bell Building, level 3. Drop in, free.
Andra Simons and Anja Ngozi: rooms 5-11 of the exhibition, with exhibition ticket.
