Tate Modern presents a new culinary collaboration with internationally acclaimed chef Santiago Lastra, founder of the Michelin-starred restaurant KOL.
Created in response to Frida: The Making of an Icon, this limited-time menu explores Frida Kahlo’s world through colour, flavour and storytelling. Each course reflects a different chapter of her life from identity and home to love, tradition and a celebration of life.
Available for a limited time at the Tate Modern Restaurant, the menu is served daily at lunchtime and on Friday and Saturday evenings. Advance booking is strongly recommended.

Alongside the restaurant menu, Tate Modern presents a limited series of special dining experiences in collaboration with Santiago Lastra’s Michelin-starred restaurant, KOL.

Begin with a private morning tour of Frida: The Making of an Icon led by one of Tate’s art experts, before travelling to KOL for an eight-course Chef’s Table lunch with a welcome drink.

Enjoy private, after-hours access to the exhibition followed by a tasting menu cooked by Santiago Lastra — a rare opportunity to experience Kahlo’s work alongside one of London’s most sought-after kitchens.

All Tate Modern entrances are step-free. You can enter via the Turbine Hall and into the Natalie Bell Building on Holland Street, or into the Blavatnik Building on Sumner street.The Restaurant and Bar is on Level 6 of the Natalie Bell Building. There are lifts to every floor of the Natalie Bell Building. Alternatively you can take the stairs.
- Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses
- A quiet room is available to use in the Natalie Bell Building on Level 4
- Ear defenders can be borrowed from the Ticket desks
