Taking inspiration from some of our wonderful abstract artworks by Agnes Marten, Cy Twombly and Huguette Caland, we want you and your family to come and get ‘painterly’ with us in the Clore Studio at Tate Modern. This means unleashing your inner artist and creating artwork with us in fun and unusual ways – all while using a dab of paint.
How you do this on the day is up to you: We will be encouraging you to get messy (but in a good way) and smear paint with your hands or use your brush to do something different – so leave the white T-shirts at home! And whether you squelch, squeeze or splash, we guarantee you’ll have loads of fun.
We also offer relaxed hours for neurodivergent children and adults and any other visitors with sensory needs who prefer a more relaxed experience. The Studio will therefore be closed for an hour on 25 October.
