Some paintings are by Stanhope and Elizabeth Forbes, while others can not be identified. Inscribed 'Mr & Mrs Stanhope Forbes a souvenir of Newlyn and of M J, J W & W R'. [It was suggested by George Bednar 04/09/2002 that the initials are those of Mabel Turner and William Russell Whitmore]
