Turbine x BEAK

Earlier this year, we teamed up with our friends at Beak brewery to make Turbine, a special edition Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale in celebration of Tate Modern’s 25th anniversary. This beer is bursting with Riwaka, Mosaic, and Citra hops, offering vibrant flavours of tangerine, cassis, passion fruit, and mango.

Turbine named in honour of our iconic Turbine Hall, which has delivered 25 years of extraordinary art commissions. On the night, guests will have after-hours access to the Turbine Hall Bridge. A chance to take in the space that inspired the beer, with Louise Bourgeois’ Maman sculpture back at Tate for the first time since 2000.

We’re excited to launch this collaboration on 8 May, ahead of Tate Modern’s birthday weekend, with a Beak tap takeover at the Corner from 18.00 to 23.00. Jay Cover's incredible artwork will be featured at the launch party, alongside live DJ sets and beer tasting.

‘REZ’ x Verdant

A wonderful lot of Riwaka hops plays supporting role to the fruit filled pungency of Citra and Mosaic in this full and fantastic pale ale.

REZ is a collaboration with our good friends at Verdant, to celebrate the launch of Electric Dreams. Inspired by the exhibition and its theme, our collab brew is a blend of art and craft, inspired by the low-resolution look of pre-internet electronica. It’s a beer born out of fun and the love of collaboration.

Readymade

Brewed in celebration of Mike Kelley: Ghost and Spirit, ‘Readymade’ blends diverse elements to create a unique, extra hoppy brew with floral notes and hits of citrus fruits like grapefruit, nodding to his creative process and imaginative worlds.

View From The Window

Working with Bristol's Left Handed Giant we've brewed ‘View From The Window’. Drawing inspiration from The Blue Rider Group's base in Bavaria, this pale ale combines traditional German malt, with contemporary German hops, and the latest in US hop products and modern brewing techniques.

“Influenced by the Blue Rider group’s Murnau period, artist, James Yeo embraced their hallmark loose brushstrokes and textured landscapes, synonymous with the evolving Expressionist movement. Crafting this piece demanded a departure from his usual approach, undergoing several revisions to achieve resonance with the Blue Rider aesthetic.”

Red Cherry Mountain Gose

Hailing from Mendip Hills of Somerset, Yonder Brewing take joy in bringing bold flavours and vibrant colour to the world of beer.

Founded in 2018 by Jasper Tupman and Stuart Winstone, the project of Yonder was created by a shared passion for flavour, fermentation, and fun.

Taste makers and experts in mixed fermentation, the endlessly innovative team specialise in heavily fruited beers such as the award-winning Raspberry Gose, a mainstay on the production rota since 2019, and one that has really defined their output in recent years.

Staying true to their roots they have brewed us ‘Red Cherry Mountain Gose’, a vibrant, fruit-filled nod to the classic German-style sour beer. A work of liquid art, and the perfect partner to Kandinsky and Münter’s colourful, bold and expressive style.

We’ve introduced a range of wines from the keg to reduce our impact, including a biodynamic Grüner-Veltliner and Beaujolais from the fabulous Château de Grand Pré. We’re thrilled to highlight the talent of Banele Vakele (Tembela Wines), who creates small quantities of brilliant and highly sought-after wine. Banele has created a Chenin Blanc and Syrah to celebrate the exhibition A World in Common.
