Join us for a celebration of wine, food and music

Following two wonderful years, we're delighted to welcome back the 100 Best Australian Wines Festival with Matthew Jukes. This special event brings together over 50 of the highest-scoring wines from Matthew's celebrated annual list of the best Australian wines.

Join us for a relaxed walk-around tasting where you'll discover everything from everyday gems to exceptional premium bottles. Meet the wine importers and merchants behind these beautiful wines, learn their stories, and enjoy the chance to chat with Matthew himself.

For those who'd like to make an evening of it, we're offering an optional three-course dinner at our Level 6 Restaurant. Our new head chef, Tommy Boland, will prepare a special menu celebrating the very best of British ingredients. Matthew has hand-picked a selection of wines available to pre-order for dinner ahead of your visit.

Our galleries will be open for extended hours until 21.00, giving you the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the art after your tasting and before dinner. A truly special way to spend an evening at Tate.

Matthew Jukes, a renowned international wine writer, is celebrated for his exceptional knowledge of Australian wines. He is widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable experts in the field. Each year, Jukes tastes over 4,000 Australian wines, curating his prestigious “100 Best Australian Wines Report” from this extensive selection. With over three decades of experience in the wine industry, he is known for his deep understanding of wine and his authoritative reports, which have earned him respect worldwide.

This is a rare opportunity to taste and learn about the best wines Australia has to offer with Matthew Jukes, the leading authority on Australian wine. Be sure to register early for this remarkable wine experience!
